Westport (pop 2,305)
Westport is a fishing village located on the southern peninsula separating the Pacific
Ocean from Grays Harbor. Fishing is the primary industry followed by tourism. A
passenger ferry operating from the Westport Marina shuttles passengers from
Westport to Ocean Shores daily in the summer and on weekends during late spring

and early fall.
The Coast Guard Station in Westport serves the coastal region and is fully equipped
for land and sea rescue. Charter boat services are available for whale watching and
deep-sea fishing. In addition to the many shops lining the streets, the Westport
Aquarium and the Westport Maritime Museum are favorite visitor attractions.
Westport is home to Westport Shipyard, one of the world's premier yacht building
companies.
