Southeast County
Southeast Grays Harbor County includes the small towns of Porter and Malone and
is primarily known for its agriculture.
Southeast county’s rich, fertile farmland also produces excellent sweet
corn,
artichokes, and flowering bulbs. At one time the area was renown for some of
the
world’s finest peas. Forest products are also grown, such as Christmas
trees, hybrid
poplar and lumber-producing fir trees. Other products include cattle, buffalo
and
dairy cows.
